Hi everyone,
This may seem totally out of the blue but since we all have been posting our subjects and commenting back on them, I have realized that we are all very different. So I started to think about traditions that families have. With the holidays coming I was kind of curious what every did or does for thanksgiving? I know for me, it really isn't that big of deal, just another family get together basically. I have never been to fond of the T-meal. I like pumpkin pie, however. During the fall though, my mom keeps some on hand.
I have a friend and her mom is TOTALLY into Holidays. She decks the whole houses and beyond out with decorations. It is a lot of fun to go over there during the holiday season. She is always right on top of everything. But I just found out that she does not like thanksgiving. She loves to host and she loves to cook for a crowd, so cooking a big meal, is not a big deal to her at all. She loves having the family over. Anyways...to make my point, I learned that they just order pizza for dinner. It really got me to thinking abolut what other's do for their holidays. If anyone wants to share anything, I would not mind reading it. Traditions are always fun to learn about, because every family has their own. One day I was chatting with a friend and we were talking about marriage (because she is getting married soon). Well i thought of the point that when a new family begins, that family is bringing technically four different families into one. The traditions that are mixed into the family, must be so different and fun.
Anyways...sorry to ramble on about this, it may seem lame. I guess I will see everyone tomorrow. Hope you all had a great homecoming weekend!
