I was on launch, and it played this video, before i even knew that you blogged about it. I think that it was a good video, because it critisizes Bush and shows him in eyes of an everyday American. Overall, I liked the video very much.

hey so i watched the video too, and it was very opinionated, mostly against the war in iraq. i liked it, yet i knew that they were only concentrating on the war that bush brought us into, and saying that thats the reason we shouldnt vote for bush. hmm.. good reason.. does it make the other guy any better, just because bush sent us to war? no. theres only two guys that could win the election to control one of the most powerful countries in the world. do we want to choose who it is because we just wnated to vote one guy out of office? it doesnt make any sense to me. i think we should focus on what each cadidtate does well, and what he will do for the good of our country, instead of giving one the boot because 'hes done bad stuff for america'. not a good reason. this all makes me think that our democracy is going downhill. by the way, has anyone seen that thing by that guy (i forgot his name) who wrote that book about how democracy is historically proven to last only 200 years? well, we are right around that mark...

janelle, i totally agree with your point about how we should focus on what they will do for our country and not what they have done, i think that that is a very mature way of looking at the situation and that it is a better strategy for figuring out who you are going to vote for,oh and i have heard about that book but i dont really know any specifics, but i have no idea who wrote it

I am not normally a big fan of rap/ hip-hop and the like. However, I found eminems video pretty effective. He does have a bias in it but since I support Kerry it doesnt bother me. I think its good that leading music artists are incorporating politics and current issues into their music instead of the stereotypical guns, violence and sex.
