Halloween, of course, is a lot of people's favorite holiday. Not true for me, but I'm still a fan. Like Meg, I guess some years it just wasn't all that great, due to the crappy weather (of course!) and the inconvenience of Halloween on a school day. But last year, I had a surprisingly fun (and FUNNY) Halloween. My brother and I decided we were going to throw a big party for the occasion. So we told everyone to come and that we weren't letting them in if they weren't wearing a costume of some sort. That plan went out the door when one by one people started showing up in their everyday clothes... kinda spoiled the fun, until the party actually started. My best friend, my brother, and I were the only ones there who were dressed up and I felt dumb, so I went to my room and changed. LOL. A while later though, my friend Alisha comes walking in fully decked out in her Christina Aguilera costume. She had the whole black long-haired wig, heavy make-up, revealing outfit thing going on. And I felt so bad for her, considering she was the last person to get there. How crappy would that be to walk into a "Halloween costume party" where no one else is wearing a costume? (It's just like on Legally Blonde where Elle walks into that so-called costume party wearing her bunny outfit and it was just a joke.) So I made my feeble attempt to make her not care by giving her the "best costume award" (which I obviously made up that second) and gave her $20. She deserved it though! And the rest of the night was a blast... that is until I had to wake up the next day and clean up the mess. And I'm sure you all know what a house will look like the day after a party. Not pleasant!
