so its really weird that this is something we are blogging about because just on sunday when i was at home my mom and i were talking about how my grandpa has ALWAYS voted democratic no matter what and how the democratic party had lost its "core values" and that is exactly what this blog says in the beginning then it goes on to talk about other stuff but it touches on this. my mom stayed home from work for a WEEK to watch all this election stuff because she is just really into it i guess and she was telling me all this stuff she learned, she says that the democratic party used to be all about the working class, equality and Unions and now if you look where most of the democratic party votes came from they were all along the west and east coast, people think that this might have happened because the democratic party has switched its values into interest groups (gay/lesbian groups, hollywood (west coast), American Civil Liberties Union and micheal moore lol) i kinda think that this is true because if you look at all the people that went out of their way to voice their opinions you will see that it was all hollywood stars and you didnt see very many if any hollywood stars that stood up for bush.. oh yeah and i was watching some news channel and they were saying how the biggest change in the media this election was the huge use of BLOGS!!! it made me laugh because before this class i had never heard of a blog and now they are saying that it possible had the largest media impact this election! wow its kinda cool i think well i might add onto this later but its been a long night, see you all on friday!
