Sooo... I am trying to look for classes I can take next semester, and I can't find any that are something that I want to study. I looked for writing classes, but they all have a weird prereq that I don't understand. I looked for Economics classes, but I am only a Junior in HighSchool, and you can't take ECON classes when you are a junior. I looked for Accounting and Finance classes, but all of them are 3xxx to 4xxx classes, and you have to have 60+ credits to take these classes, because they teach them only at the Carlson School of Managment. This is sooooo stressful!
I know what you mean about finding suitable courses being frustrating...There are all these neat literature and poli sci classes that really caught my attention, but hardly any of them are 1xxx courses...*sigh*...its annoying when you aren't allowed to take courses that are higher than 1xxx level...I think I'll take pre calc next semester, and probably global politics..I don't know what else though..does anyone have any comments on pre calc or global politics?? Any recomendations? Any danger warnings (lol)? I want to do at least 12 credits next semester, so i'll need to think about other suitable classes that are both interesting AND help fill my high school reqirements...any suggestions from other PSEO students?? I'd appreciate any feedback/comments etc..

I tried to find some cool fiction and other creative writing courses to take next semester but it says I have to pick from a list of "University Writing and Critical Reading, this that and the other etc, etc," or take Intro to Creative Writing. I have one sem of previous college credit, half of which transferred, I already took a sophomore/junior level fiction writing course last year and I don't want to go back to intro this and intro that. I would petition the course but administration refused to transfer it in the first place. Maybe if they wanted people to stay in college they'd offer them something interesting and challenging right off the bat and not just after their freshmen or sophomore year.
