This weekend I was paying close attention to fallacies and I am going to explain one that I encountered this weekend. I have seen more fallacies on tv and different places, but I thought that I would put this one on the weblog and save the rest until class starts. The type of fallacy I encountered fell under the category fallocies of pathos. The type that I encountered was Appeal to Irrational Premises. O.K. this is what happened I am not going to say any names or places though. I was chilling with some freinds somewhere and the place I was at everyone was drinking but me and they were drinking on some light beer called Michelob. Me being as cool as I was was hanging out with these guys laughing and having fun. Then all of a sudden one of my friends friends was trying to use peer pressure to try to get me to drink the beer. So I told him I don't drink beer it's nasty to me. So them he was like come on take one everybody else in here has one just try it. This guy tried to con me but I wasn't going to do it. I then started to think like man this can be used as an example of fallacy so then I decided to post it on the web blog.
