The First Semester of College

well, folks, my very first semester at college was a very interseting experience. to say the least. so much has happened in this past couple months, that it doesnt feel like i've only been here for one semester. a lot of the things that i was told about came true. my old chemistry teacher used to lecture us on how college was going to be so hard, and if you didn't get your act together by the first semester, you were screwed. well, when i got here, i still had senioritis from the previous year (i had it ReaL bad), and i pretty much kept those studying habits, but definetely not that bad. i didnt study all that much, but i did my homework, (for the first few weeks). i ended up dropping calculus, not doing so well in chemistry, and just overall being lazy. i also think that my choice of weekend activities (practically every weekend) were not such a good choice to coincide with my studies. now i definetely dont think i have learned my lesson the hard way yet, but i know that next semester i have to work a heck of a lot harder if i want to do well in college in the future. overall, it was an excellent experience, and since i live in the dorms, i didnt think i would transition too well, but i did perfectly. much better than some people i know at other schools. so yeah. this semester was great, and i know that i have to do a lot more work next semester.
