First Semester Entry

Well, technically, this is my second semester of college. This semester was very different from my first term. Last fall I want to a private school in Florida, I thought, I'm going to just take a chance and move across the country and do the whole 'start a new life far from home' sort of thing. It would have worked fine, but ... the school was kinda of one those schools for rich brats and everyone there - it was like all of the most obnoxious and arrogant prom kings and queens that you've ever met decided to all go to the same school! I'm not kidding, and we all know what a social butterfly I am, plus, you know, it doesnt help I didn't like the classes there, too easy, and dorm life was less than ideal because my roommate, not a good match. So I came here because I can count on the MN for having nice people, you wouldn't believe the difference. This semester has been hard because I live at home and commute a short distance each day - I'm distracted by my friends that don't go to college and I have my home life which is quite distracting too. Working, commuting, and then when I'm home, studying is not always on my mind, but my grades are ok, I didn't screw-up or anything, although a lot is riding on a certain chem exam tonight, but all the same, and in conclusion this semester was a good experience and this sentence is one heck of a run-on, so I'm going to say adieu for now.
