Hello class, first off I am going to tell you about what I plan to do this weekend and then let you know a little about the topic. Since I have a late class Wednesday and there are no late flights going out later than I want them I am leaving Thursday evening. I will be arriving into Chicago at like 2:00pm hopefully. The first thing I am going to do is visit some of my family (my great grandma, grandma, moms, and cousins). I am going to get so full that day. I am going to eat at like three different places, so donít be to surprise if I come back ten pounds heavier than I was. After that day I plan to spend the rest of my time chilling and hanging out with friends. Okay enough of that I would like to talk about the title of my topic. ďA Raisin In The Sun,Ē everyone knows that I will be going back to Chicago for thanksgiving and plan to make the best of it. Man, I am so happy to be going back to Chicago. I miss ďChi-TownĒ badly and canít wait until I get there. Iíve been here in Minnesota for three months straight and never spent a full weekend in my hometown, but it seems as if I have been here for like three years or something. I really donít have anything against this state but being here made me really appreciate Chicago even more than what I been appreciating it. I miss family, friends, and canít forget the honeyís too. Minnesota is a nice state and everything, but being here really made me feel like a ďRaisin In The Sun.Ē Some of those who arenít form here might know what Iím talking about. Being in a new surrounding makes you feel like an outsider, I mean not knowing anything, until you find your place and I hope to find mine soon. Basically what I mean by that is I am not from this state and everybody acts totally different than people on Chicago. Me being me I donít know how to react to it so I just be quiet. I mean I know how to get to know people but I just donít go up to the person and say hi. Many people that I met have approach me that way. Hopefully you guys know what I mean.
