Well this morning I spent an hour on the phone with the Colorado Institute of Art and Design. Due to a business venture, I might be relocating myself to Denver next spring or so. I have never been there so if anyone can give me any info, that would be amazing. This would be my 3rd college which is really annoying but all I have heard about Denver is that it is a great city. So if just let me know your feelings or opinions, it will help me to finalize my plans. Thanks!

I just want to say good luck in Denver. I think any state is better than MN especially during winnter. I heared that Denver has a lot of mountains and I think it will be fun for camping. If you don't mind asking, what are you going to major in?
Laura-
I was actually going to go to the University of Colorado, but I chickened out at the last second and decided to stay near home. I have never been there myself but for some reason I find myself obsessed with Colorado. I too have heard the area is great particularly if you love the outdoors; hopefully I will be able to get there sometime. I have a few friends that have lived there or have visited and I really cannot remember any bad comments. – If anything the weather is better than here. Though the one thing I have been told is that compared to Minnesota, Colorado has a lack of lakes, which is understandable. This may not be a huge deal to you, I just love to kayak. Good luck if you decide to go; I am sure you will love it.
I also found a few fun facts for you from Denver’s online travel guide (denver.org):
Denver is the most educated city in the U.S. Denver has the greatest percentage of college graduates of any major metropolitan area in the U.S.
Denver is the "thinnest" city in America and Colorado is the thinnest state. A study by the American Cancer Society in 2002 found that Colorado is the only state in the nation in which fewer than half the people are obese.
In 1935, Louis Ballast melted a slice of cheese on a hamburger at his Denver Humpty Dumpty drive-in restaurant, and patented the invention as the world's first "cheeseburger."
The city receives only 8-15 inches of precipitation a year (about the same as Los Angeles), and records 300 days of sunshine a year -- more annual hours of sun than San Diego or Miami Beach.
Golf courses remain open all year and have been played on as many as 30 days in January.
All are here.
