My name is Maria Reeves. I am a sophomore here at the U. I was born and raised in Russia and moved to the US when I was 10. It was a difficult transition, heightened by my inability to speak English. Over the years though, I have become accustomed to life in America. Despite adaptation, I will always miss my family and culture. International relocation is extremely difficult on children and teens, however I am glad for the experience as I now benefit from a much broader and diversified outlook on life.
