I would describe economic justice as an economy where everyone has equal and fair opportunity for jobs, housing, voting, and wealth. In this scenario, no one would face set backs or obstacles strictly because of their race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. The main obstacle that currently inhibits the United States from having a just economy such as this is the structure that we have set up for ourselves. Our economic system is laced with industries, such as the law enforcement industry, that systematically use discrimination as a tool, whether it's conscious or unconscious. Although there are individuals and organizations that attempt to achieve economic justice, the problem cannot be solved unless the whole structure is changed.
