Grocery worker pleads guilty to tainting yogurt samples with semen

A grocery store working pleaded guilty Thursday to handing out semen-tainted yogurt samples at an Albuquerque market.

Anthony Garcia, 32, pleaded guilty to charges of adulterating food and making false statements in a criminal investigation, reported the Chicago Sun Times.

Under terms of his plea agreement, Garcia admitted to tainted samples of yogurt with semen that he was handing out in January at Sunflower Market, reported MSNBC News.

Police said he was linked to the yogurt through DNA tests, reported the Chicago Sun Times.

Garcia faces up to three years of imprisonment followed by three years of supervised release, reported MSNBC News.
