World Bank Agrees to Help Countries in Need
The World Bank agreed on Sunday to help developing countries financially and economically. According to Dominique Strauss-Kahn, head of the International Monetary Fund, this move will have a positive effect on the struggling markets. He also urged that developed companies continue to help aid the poor countries throughout the hard financial times that are affecting the globe.
According to both CNN and Fox news coverage countries such as the United States and Europe were initially angry about the committment. However the United States is not "pursuing policies that would limit the flow of goods, services or capital," Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said.
