I was alerted to this blog - Research-China.Org - which will be highlighting recent newspaper reports of interviews with Chinese birthparents who relinquished parental rights through abandonment of the children. I am not sure where this will all go but it's worthwhile to follow and critique as time goes on.
Posted by richlee at March 10, 2007 11:37 AMyou know a friend of mine told me that (in China - due to the one-child rule) pregnant moms caught with their second would get arrested, forced into abortion even if the baby was at its final trimester, and even have their homes completely demolished by demolition squads from the government.
