This week: Leadership is inspiring others to mirror you dedication to pursue a common ambition. A leader, understands his, his follower's, and the community's strengths and values in order to maximize the teams impact. A leader keeps everyone on the same page with common values, set expectations, set goals, and healthy communication.

Analysis:
After going through the culture detectives packet I have added the importance of understanding your fellow community members. Our actions have an effect on those around us so it is important our team does not create negative externalities. When someone takes the time to understand my beliefs, norms, values, and strengths I am much more likely to fallow them.

Analysis:
Acording to the "An overview of intentional change from a leadership perspective" reading, "MBAs who set goals desiring to change on certain competencies changed significantly on those competencies as compared to other MBAs."(Boytzis, 2006). Working hard is great but when you do not know what it is that you are working towards you can not get anywhere. When a team has a goal they are much more successful.

Analysis: This week's reading "Factors affecting communication style: Starring acts in the circus" emphasizes the need and importance of communication. Without good communication a team is left unsuccessful. As we saw in our class activity every one has faced a time when there was not good communication. Leaders have an important role in maintaining good communication.
