We created a plan to pilot how instructors and a course coordinator, with support from the chairs and members of the curriculum review board, would work through content and number of contact hours needed for a proposed course within the draft curriculum. Today we heard back from Jim regarding his presentation of recommendations about pre-requisite courses to the Admissions Committee, and considered credit numbers for courses in the draft curriculum. In two weeks, we will be meeting with the department chairs and hope to begin work in earnest in identifying best practices for determination of core content in proposed courses.
