Purpose

On-farm variety trials of fruit trees and berries are underway in Zone 2 and 3. The Schulstad farms host research tunnels 2010-2012. Variety trials of strawberries, raspberries, honeyberries, blueberries, apples, pears and plums.

  • Construction of two high tunnels on Schulstad farm 
  • Establish plantings for several varities of berries and fruit trees 
  • Host field days on the farm
  • Record survival, vigor and production for each variety
