Greater Milan Initiative Sustainable Energy Utlity Planning Process

Project files

Greater Milan Initiative (GMI) is exploring the development of a Sustainable Energy Utility (SEU) in Milan and surrounding area. SEU is a non-profit entity, owned by the community, that provides a comprehensive package of sustainable energy services. The SEU is a one stop shop providing education, technology, and financing sources for area residents to improve energy efficiency and consider on site renewables for their residences, businesses and gathering places. Future efforts could incorporate the needs of sustainable agriculture and ag processing.
