Week 3 Definition: Leadership is about finding your strengths and then utilizing them to execute, influence, relate, or strategize with others. Successful leaders are able to develop these strengths not only in themselves, but also in those around them.
Week 4 Definition: Leadership is about finding your strengths and then utilizing them to execute, influence, relate, or strategize with others. Successful leaders are able to develop these strengths not only in themselves, but also in those around them in a playful, professional manner.
I really liked the definition that I had last week. The Roth readings have a good portrayal of what makes a leader. However, they don't take into account the playful, fun attitude that make leaders well-liked. I like that this was a factor in Goleman and Boyatzis's idea of a leader.
