Southeast Asian Ministry Prepares to Welcome Hmong Refugees from Thailand
As you have seen in local news, Hmong refugees in Thailand will begin arriving in the United States in late summer. Southeast Asian Ministry (SeAM), a partnership ministry of the St. Paul Area Synod, is beginning preparations for their arrival. As a long-time supporter of SeAM, Gloria Dei will assist with this ministry. If you are interested in helping, please contact Claire H. or Christine S., Co-Chairs, Outreach Committee, or the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church office.

For details on the 2004 resettlement of Hmong from the Wat Tham Krabok in Saraburi Province, Thailand, see the WAT Working Report (23 p. pdf) - also linked in this blog under Featured Links.
