New Online Encyclopedia of Jewish Women

The Jewish Women's Archive is proud to announce the launch of the online version of Jewish Women: A Comprehensive Historical Encyclopedia,
originally produced by Alice and Moshe Shalvi of Shalvi Publishing Ltd.

This new resource will be available for free at http://jwa.org/encyclopedia/ beginning March 1, 2009.

I've also requested to have this resource listed in MNCAT.

Note that the new print edition is a quarto, and the old one is folio. The new edition is shelved with the regular sized books in the first floor Reference room of Wilson Library.
