What are your current obsessions?
Photography, clay, and photographing the clay I’m working on.
Which item from your wardrobe do you wear most often?
Anne said it so well: Whatever fits. Also, things that are apple green. denim. scarves, weather permitting.
What's for dinner?
defrosted pork chops. Three too many of them. This could be dinner every night. Ugh.
What's your greatest fear at the moment?
That I will drive my friends crazy.
What are you listening to?
the ventilation system of the library.
If you were a goddess what would you be?
I’m having trouble choosing one. Closest thing I can think of is Baba Yaga, the ambiguous witch of Russian fairy tales.
What are your favorite holiday spots?
Paris, San Francisco, Grand Marais.
What are you reading right now?
Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire by Amanda Foreman, Book of Faith by Henry French, and A Crack in the Edge of the World by Simon Winchester.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate.
Who or what makes you laugh?
my friends, myself. Puns. M*A*S*H, Frasier, and Mad About You reruns.
What is your favorite spring thing to do?
Sprucing up the garden and opening the windows in the house.
Where are you planning to travel next?
Chicago.
What is the best thing you ate or drank lately?
Combo plate at Mim’s near St. Paul campus, and the oatmeal cookies from Bread & Chocolate.
When was the last time you were tipsy?
The night I bought my house!
What is your favorite ever film?
Something’s Gotta Give, with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson. It cheers me.
What is the biggest lesson you've learned from children?
Every day is new. Celebrate life.

I can use a mouse with either left- or right-handed settings.
