In a recent Gallup Poll, some female voters have switched from voting for Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney to President Barack Obama.
According to USA Today, six out of 10 women now support Obama as opposed to the middle of February when only a little over half supported Obama.
The speculation of this comes from Romney's promise to end Planned parenthood". Meaning that he would allow employers to not cover contraception in their health care plans.
A blogger from The Moderate Voice reports that Romney still leads among all men by a single point, but Obama still leads all women by 18 points.
The survey consists of 933 registered voters and has a margin of error of +/- 4 points. The swing states surveyed are Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.
