As a part of the decommissioning the FileNET Web Content Management, all of the Family Social Science projects and centers needed to be redesigned. My goal for Parenting Teen's site was an upbeat look into the complicated lives of teens.

Due to the Office of Information Technology decommissioning the FileNET Web Content Management, Family Social Science needed to convert their existing sites. We took that opportunity to give the Family Social Science website a new look, experience, and to heighten a sense of discovery for visitors. Major shifts included adding news items to the home page, creating and reusing video clips of faculty and students, and actively updating the news and calendar. Since the majority of our graduate students are international and do not have an opportunity to visit the department before enrolling, I wanted the site to be a strong and effective recruiting tool.

On August 21, 2007 Dr. Wayne Caron suddenly passed away. He left many gifts from his life to grow and thrive in his absence. One of those gifts was the innovative collaborative learning community for persons living with dementia. The Wayne Caron Family Caregiving Center is used by families in need of information regarding dementia care and to improve support for people who live every day with dementia.

Since the Family Social Science department had an abundance of news, I suggested the newsletter change from a semiannual to a quarterly newsletter. I write and edit the articles, take the photos, and design the layout.

The Family Social Science department, Marriage and Family Therapy program needed a visual identity for student recruitment, marketing materials, and brand recognition. The logo and word mark were designed to illustrate cohesiveness and interconnectedness with a fresh upbeat feel.
