The death toll in Chile has reached 708 people from Saturday's 8.8 magnitude earthquake as President Michelle Bachelet calls in the army to help with looting.
The president has referred to the earthquake as an "unthinkable disaster," reported CNN, and is willing to accept help from international aid.
The death toll continues to rise as there is a growing amount of people missing reported the Star Tribune.
The main aid needed in Chile is implementing field hospitals, building of temporary bridges, water purification plants, damage assessment experts and extra workers to relieve those who have been working non-stop reported the Star Tribune.
The tsunami warnings have stopped as there is no threat anymore reported CNN.
