Al Qaeda top two officials dead

Al Qaeda in Iraq confirms the death of two most senior leaders.
The deaths were confirmed on an Islamist website a week after the U.S. announced the deaths of Abu Ayyub al-Masri and Abu Omar al-Baghdadi reported CNN.
The two senior leaders were killed in a raid by Iraqi and U.S. security forces in Tikrit, north of Baghdad reported ABC News.
U.S. military officials have said the deaths have been a "potentially devastating blow" to the terrorist group reported CNN.
Al- Masri, a native Egyptian, was the military leader of al Qaeda reported CNN. Al-Baghdadi was the leader of Islamic State of Iraq.
