Car Crashes into Apartment in St. Cloud

A man lost control of his vehicle Wednesday morning and ran into an apartment building in St. Cloud.
Abdirashid Abdi lost control of his car, hitting a stop sign and a tree before hitting the apartment building located on 530 12th St. N. reported FOX9.
Abdi was transported to the emergency room to be treated for his minor injuries. He was cited for reckless driving reported WCCO.
The residents of the apartment, St. Cloud State sophomores Laura Nagorski and Tessa Hartman were at the apartment at the time of the accident reported FOX9. Neither one of the students was injured.
Police say that the Abdi was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident reported FOX9.
