Dan Gable Ultimate Wrestling Shoes (Auf Deutsch: Ringerschuhe)

The Dan Gable Ultimate wrestling shoes sold like hot cakes in its first year on the market! For 2008 Asics has expanded the line to include a Iowa hawkeye yellow color. With this move asics continues to offer a wide range of non-conventional colors after seeing the dramtic sales growth from Adidas who have been aggressively offering new colors and styles.

The hawkeye should do very well. Many wrestlers bought the yellow John Smith wrestling shoe last year even though I didn’t think it would do that well.

Features design and construction makes this one of the most flexible wrestling shoes ASICS® has ever made.

Injection molded PU provides structural support while maintaining a soft feel and light weight

Full Ecsaine upper for soft, lightweight and form-fitting shoe

Three-dimensional last for improved fit Integrated lace cover system complies with regulations

Weight: 8.9 oz.

Wrestling Shoes and Wrestling Gear Auctions Website Unveiled

MatFish.com has recently been released into public beta and I am running through the list of things this new wrestling gear auction website will need to do in order to be ready for prime time.

There are a lot of cosmetic things that need to be addressed. I don't particularly like the logo right now, but that will change once the product comes out of beta. I feel the website is functional, however, the sorting should be done based on the frequency of visits to each section.

MatFish.com plans to give wrestlers, wrestling fans, and the general public the ability to exchange products at a much lower rate than eBay and other auction houses. While wrestling shoes and wrestling headgear being two of the expected best sellers, many other types of wrestling gear will also be available.

Asics Cael version 3.0 Wrestling Shoes

This is perhaps the sickest shoe to get released, again. They spend a ton of time working on this one shoe style, why on earth can't they design a couple similar pairs of wrestling shoes? Cael is making out like a bandit. Odds are that this shoe is worn by over 25% of high school aged wrestlers (thats a wild guess.. haha).. so Cael would ultimately have a huge market share. He better hope that nobody goes undefeated through their college career any time soon...

The Cael V3.0 features everything a wrestler wants - flexibility, lightweight and excellent fit.

  • Ecsaine Upper - Soft, form-fitting and lightweight
  • Air Mesh - Quickly dissipates heat and moisture
  • Shine Up - Controls odor
  • Integrated Lace Cover - Complies with regulations

  • Asics The Gable™ Throwback Wrestling Shoes

Asics has released a throwback version of the Dan Gable wrestling shoes from 1981.

These were once called the Asics Tiger (I believe). I had a pair of them as hand-me-downs from my brother in the late 80's. They aren't built as padded and high-tech as the shoes today, but they are very flexible (not as good as the old school adidas combat speed), however. As always, Wrestling Shoes and all other wrestling gear can be discussed at TheWrestlingTalk.com
