search for missing cadet resumed

A search for a missing 21-year-old West Point cadet resumed Thursday.

Nick Rossini went missing from his family's home in White Bear Lake the morning of December 17th. The day before his disapperance Rossini was arrested for drunken-driving and his family feared that he was despondent.

The Ramsey County sheriff's water patrol began searching Bald Eagle and Birch lakes for Rossini Thursday. The day that Rossini went missing the lakes froze over and authorities were unable to do a thorough search of the lakes.

It is not assumed that the man is in the water, but this search will hopefully eliminate that possibility, police said.
