The Consumers Union website offers a must-see fake drug ad as part of an effort to convince lawmakers to pass legislation to require pharmaceutical companies to disclose the side effects of their products. Follow the exploits of a cartoon pill -- a fictional medication called Progenitorivox -- whose side effects include "constipation, male lactation" and "rust-colored urination." Other warnings in the song include "do not resume sexual activity while operating heavy machinery without consulting your physician" and "for erections lasting longer than four hours, insert your own joke here."
Unfortunately, it's almost not a joke in that it's almost too true.
