Web of Science vs. Google Scholar Smackdown 4/8

Time: Tuesday, April 8, 2008 12:00 PM -- 1:00 PM
Location: AHC Learning Commons, 535/545 Diehl Hall

Where do you go to find the article? This class will compare and contrast two different library resources -- Google Scholar and Web of Science -- in a smackdown to determine which is better for tracking down incomplete or incorrect citations.

Using Web of Science and Google Scholar, you can also identify how often a publication has been cited, trace how research on a topic has evolved over time, and track who has cited your publications. Learn also how to search for books, articles and other sources cited in bibliographies and works cited lists.
Register here for the workshop.

This class will have a health sciences focus.
