Mechanical engineering professor Jane Davidson will present "Solar After Dark: Storage Options," exploring the latest attempts to harvest and store concentrated solar energy via high-temperature, thermochemical processes to produce fuels. The discussion will include an overview of process options and an estimate of the scalability of these processes to replace petroleum.
