Fresh Prince

Growing up I loved The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I really enjoyed every minute of it, though there are no new episodes I can still catch the reruns once in a while. I don't like it as much as I did, but if it is on I can catch myself watching it.

Yellow Arrow

If I were to put a yellow arrow anywhere I would place it at my house in Eagan. The reason I would put it there is because thats my place to relax, kick back, and get away from everything. It is a very peaceful place for me, that is why I charish it.

Light Rail
I can say my experience riding on the light rail was a good one. The reason I say that is because if it were not for this assignment I probably would not have ridden it. Before I actually rode the light rail, I did not know what to expect. What I did image was it being like the Metro Transit Buses, but with a touch of class. I thought it would be the same as the bus except for the fact it would be less crowded, bumpy, and quiet. I also thought that they would be a lot of businessmen and women that would be riding on it. It seems like it would be a nice atmosphere, because I imaged it being nice and clean.
The station I arrived at to hop the light rail was the Hiawatha Station. When I first arrived, there were not many people that were waiting. There were two teenagers that looked like they were on there way to the mall, I over heard them talking about what they plan on getting from there. There was also an elderly woman that had two bags with her, I wanted to help her but I was skeptical because of the way she was staring at me. Five minutes later, the light rail arrived. When it pulled up to the station I was in awe because it was so bright, and plus I like bright colors. A few people exited, as we waited to get on. Once I got on I noticed there were a decent amount of people on it, everyone was sitting quietly or reading a magazine or newspaper, what I noticed right away was there were many businessmen on, I could tell because of their attire, they way they conducted themselves, and how they associated with one another. It was pretty much like I imaged. About twenty minutes after I was on more people proceeded to enter, and before I knew it, the light rail was crowded just as the metro transit bus does during rush hour. I did not expect it to be as crowded, but little did I know. Overall, I found out the light rail is similar to the bus but nicer, less shaky, and less stops. I was on the light rail for quit a while; I never got off until I got back to the Hiawatha station. When I got off, I noticed there was some art that I did not notice early until I started to look around and observe my surroundings. I also saw that there were food places near, and if I were not hungry, I probably would not have noticed it because I could only see it from a far, so I was a victim of somnambulism. The station was clean, that was kind of a surprise, a lot cleaner than a bus station, which is understandable because it is a new way of transportation. The one thing I did not necessarily like had to stand outside to wait, though I had no idea on how to make it better. I guess I felt this way because the light rail was nice and should accommodate us by having to stand inside instead of standing outside as you would for a bus. I felt so strongly at the time because I was so cold.
