Upcoming event: SEX SIGNALS

I recently received this information from The Aurora Center at the U of M about this event that ius coming up in April. This seems like an interesting event and I strongly encourage you all to participate, as this is a good opportunity to see how theater and humor can be used as tools to prevent gender and intimate partner violence. Here is the information I received about the event:

"April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and this year The Aurora Center is hosting Sex Signals on Monday, April 28th at 7:00pm in the Coffman Theater.

Sex Signals is a provocative, in-your-face look at the good, the bad, and the ugly side of dating. Through humor and audience participation, the show explores how mixed messages, gender role stereotypes and unrealistic fantasies contribute to misunderstandings between the sexes.

We believe this unique opportunity will provide students with clarity in dealing with the often confusing experience with intimate relationships and to dispel myths about sex and sexual assault."
