What's it Going to Look Like?

Based on the information provided by UMM community and committee members, and the campus forum, LHB Architects have produced three-dimensional drawings of what the exterior of the new green residence hall will look like, its placement among current campus buildings, and layouts of the interior spaces. Check it out!

Analysis of Potential Wall Construction Practices

The attached file outlines three different wall construction styles - wood frame with fiberglass batt insulation, wood frame with expanding foam insulation, and insulated concrete form (ICF) construction. Information about building cost, embodied energy, insulative performance, and total energy consumption is included, along with the pros and cons of each.

Prospective Schematics for GPLLC Layout/Placement

My apologies for the long delay between entries. Four proposals for the layout and site placement of the new green residence hall are in the attached file. The committee agreed that the proposal 'A' is the most appropriate for the location.
