Asian baseball players going to United States to play

Espn.com reports, this year in Spring Training for Major League Baseball there are more Asian baseball players than the previous year and the previous year before that. Every year Major League Baseball gets more Asian players competing for spots on their baseball teams.

There could possibly be situations in baseball games resulting in just Asian players making the plays. "At some points this season, Hideki Matsui might hit a home run off Boston's Daisuke Matsuzaka, who will be replaced by Hideki Okajima, who will finish the game won by Yankees starter Kei Igawa."

MLB.com reports baseball is becoming increasingly international every year. There are players from all over the world. There have been talks to having Major League games played in other parts of the world. "On the drawing board right now are opening the 2008 season abroad, with the prime contenders being Japan and China; plus the first postseason MLB All-Star tour of Korea and Chinese-Taipei this November."
