The Department of Advertising & Public Relations at the University of Texas at Austin seeks applicants for two tenure-track positions at the assistant professor level to begin Fall 2013.
Applicants should have interests in one or more of the following areas: new media, media research, media planning, integrated marketing communications, account planning, and public relations. Applicants should also be interested and have some experience in web-based instruction.
Salary is competitive. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or be a candidate near completion of the Ph.D. with evidence of outstanding research and teaching potential.
The Department offers undergraduate degrees in advertising and public relations and masters and Ph.D. degrees in Advertising.
