Today in class we talked about how Microsoft was the dominate PC applcation software and how they became this power house.. We talked about LUCK.. and after reading this article i think Microsoft is a really lucky company... First when IBM asked them to the operating system for its new PC. from there the company became more popular and even more popular when they went public with the company.. then when Microsoft had Word and Excel come out it was a big hit because they bundled thier products.. They reason Lotus and Word Perfect failed was because they tired to match Microsoft instead of trying to figure out a new bussiness model of thier own...
