Xbox and iPods

WOW... that is the first thing that comes to my mind after i read this. i can't believe that people actually are paying so much money for this GAME.. it doesn't make any sence to me.. i think someone spent $100,000 in real US dollars... i can thing of REAL things that i can buy for that much money. One thing that is kinda cool about this is that you can make money from other people who like to spend money on this. One man is making about $1,900 a week from other players(RESIDENTS).. I just don't know... i could never see my self spending that much money on a computer game. I mean the game looks like if would be cool to try out and but i don't know how far i would go.. I wonder if some of the people who play this game are just playin because they don't enjoy their life enough and want to start over to become some one else on thier free time... With the possiblity of being able to make money from this maybe helps people to continue to play.. it is really so real life... once you create a character you can do what ever it is that you can ever thing of... The people can have adult relations with ofher people as longs the other adult consents, but i think if you do things that would be illeagle in real life is totally ok on this game... i don't really thing that is very appropriate... i wonder how far this game will go and how popular it will become... i personally don't see my self tryin to do this but i could see people who love computer games like the sims to like to play this game... the man that makes the $1,900 is a stay at home father so he has time for the game but, so mabye others will start up companies online too... who knows i am curious as to how big this company grows in the next few years...

Our student lead examples in class was very interesting... i never knew there were so many information goods out there... too me it some of the items are intersting like the google earth, and the IP realy... the google earth you can go and look millions of different places on the earth and it will zoom in to it and it will show up on your computer screeen... WItht the IP relay, its meant for deaf people to call other people on the phone.... there is a lady that types and says eveything that the person types... it was really cool when we tried it in class... i don't know how they person who talks gets paid because it didn't cost anything to use and there weren't any ads of the screen so i don't really know.... everyone brought in really good examples and i learned new things too...

so i new there were tons of games on play stations and xbox's i also knew there were games like internet hearts and checkers and other games like that on the internet but i never knew that we could paly games like madden 2004 and other play station games. i think this new technology is awesome. you can play with games across the world.
the first consoles were very simple intended for older children.. but now the games are so realistic that most of the newer games are meant for young adults more so than older children even.. the technology is increasing so much from the simple nintendo to now the xbox and ps3 coming out soon... what a difference in technology and graphics ...

but now there is online gaming.. who is the targer market for online gaming?? jupiter reseachers reportatd that there is about 63 million US consumers played games online in the year 2001, see the things is with these games they were free... i think this article kinda says that online play isn't and wont be a huge revenue booster because people won't want to pay to play when they can just play on thier own console... but who really knows they did have over1.5 million active players pay $40 for an adaptor... i think that is a good start.. but still with all of the new systems that come out i think gamers would rather just play with thier buddies on thier hundreds of dollar consoles.. well that is what i would want to do anyways..
