Block E's movie theater, AMC is leaving downtown Minneapolis at the end of this month.
There was a legal fight between AMC and building owners earlier this year to extend their lease, but AMC lost, the Star Tribune reported. It will be the first time that downtown Minneapolis is theatherless since 2002.
Block E has seen some businiesses close their doors in the last few years, reported by the CBS Minnesota. In the building, the Shout House piano bar, Kieran's Irish Pub, Jimmy John's and starbucks are the remaining tenants.
