Observe and document some oppositions- and their possible resolutions.
Really when you look around your life there's oppositions everywhere.
The movies we watch, the jobs we do, the way we get from place to place, the assigned class work. The list could go on and on even with out mentioning the Oppositions in the built environment, of which there are many.
If oppositions were as easy to deal with as they are in the movies
A) the USA would be blowing the middle east up right now... not that our government isn't doing it's best to
B) Tony Montana would be great at resolving things
But on a bettering the world and more human note.
As I am "growing up" the little America boy dream of owning some fast car is more and more reachable and interesting to me, except for one thing. Gas Prices.
FEED ME! FEED ME! FEED ME! GAS!
As anyone who drives or is around cars knows, cars are hungry for one primary thing, gas.
Natural Gas, known by many as simply gas is one of the most used and sought after products of the earth and the supply of it is dwindling. "It is projected that the world's supply of natural gas should be exhausted around the year 2085." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_gas) That kind of statistic isn't a promising one for the youth of our world, in 2085 I'll be 96 and probably wont be running around in a big red Mustang anymore but my children will be in that world and they'll need to get around just as much as I do now. With dates like those in site and the supplies of easy to reach Natural Gas dwindling, gas prices, that I can remember being at 80 cents per gallon when I was nine, bouncing between two and three dollars per gallon, it's time to come up with a cheaper, cleaner more efficient way of travel.
Simply stopping at hybrid cars isn't really enough, they still need gas to run on.
The major car company's have squashed any though and any design that they had of producing an electric car for more on that check out (www.sonyclassics.com/whokilledtheelectriccar) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who_Killed_the_Electric_Car%3F) and other websites
Doing something like GM did with their EV1 is a step in the right direction but since the large oil company's practical bribed GM into taking the EV1 off the market and destroying them all the youth of the world will have to work to redesign the electric car, or some other form of car that doesn't scare the big oil companies so much that they destroy the new type of car.
I for one if I could afford it, would love to have owned one of the EV1's they are faster 0-60 then such super cars as the Porsche Carrera GT Dodge Viper and the Corvette.
Side Note: Ozayr is always giving us the rottentomatoes.com score for diffrent movies, Who Killed The Electric Car got a "Fresh" 90
