Summer 2010 Global Seminars

These short-term, 3-credit, study abroad programs are led by U of M professors and instructors. The theme of the program comes alive as students visit sites, speak with local experts, and experience life in another country. You may learn more at the Learning Abroad Web site.

This year students can add a second Global Seminar, the popular "Great Minds of the Renaissance" program, in order to complete 6-credits for summer aid eligibility. The Learning Abroad Center will deduct $500 off the price of the second program. All programs include the fee of a round trip flight, therefore, the program fee may be further reduced if the second flight is not necessary (for example if the student chooses two programs in Europe).
