Reporting from India with Round Earth Media

Round Earth Media is seeking smart, passionate, creative, socially-networked, early-career multimedia journalists for a three-week paid global reporting opportunity in India from February 18, to March 11, 2011. The selected journalist is expected to post twice a day via social media (primarily Facebook) as we plan the trip, our stories and our coverage. Each journalist will be expected to produce a minimum of 5 deeply-reported
multimedia stories.

This opportunity is for those with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, experience telling stories using emerging media, ability to capture and edit both audio and video, proficiency in Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro and Photoshop.

The selected candidate will receive a stipend and all-expenses covered while on assignment in India, mentorship of veteran journalists with expertise covering India and
distribution of published stories with top-tier news outlets which may include National Public Radio, The New York Times, commercial TV websites, Public Radio International (PRI) and others.
