Minnesota Public Radio is seeking applications from SJMC students for two reporter internship openings.
MPR is looking for students who have a solid grasp of convergence journalism and who show skill and interest in working in web platforms, including video and Soundslides production in addition to other tools.
The strongest candidates will have superior writing and reporting skills who also possess strong video storytelling capabilities.
Interns are expected to work 12 to 16 hours per week and can earn one academic credit. This internship offers a $1,000 stipend.
Applications are due by 3 p.m. Friday and must include:
• A resume
• A completed application form
• A one-page summary about why you want the position
• Samples of your best work
• A professor's recommendation
