New section of JOUR 3201, arts reporting capstone classes open
Students interested in learning the principles of strategic communication in advertising and those interest in arts reporting have two new course options starting today.
The School of Journalism and Mass Communication opened an additional section of JOUR 3201 -- Principles of Strategic Communication: Advertising. The lecture runs from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
JOUR 4171 -- Capstone: Covering the Arts will offer students chances to learn about reporting on the arts from a professional arts journalist. Lecture will run from 9:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some class meetings at the Guthrie Theater. Students will need to have their names added to the wait list to be considered for admission into the course.
