A Conversation with Thomas Friedman

On Friday, Sept. 9, New York Times columnist and Pulitzer Prize winning author Thomas Friedman visits the University of Minnesota to discuss his new book That Used to Be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World It Invented and How We Can Come Back.

In the book, Friedman analyzes the challenges facing America today, including globalization, chronic deficits and energy consumption and spells out what we need to do now.
