The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication honored SJMC alumnus Mark R. Neuzil with its 2009 Tankard Book Award. Neuzil was recognized for his book "The Environment and the Press: From Adventure Writing to Advocacy." The award was presented at the AEJMC's annual conference held August 5-8 in Boston, Mass.
