The SJMC Alumni Society Board is now seeking nominations for its annual Above the Fold: Career Success Under 40 award. The award honors alumni who have achieved great success before the age of 40.
The award will be given to a minimum of two alumni -- one from the strategic communication world and another from the journalism world.
In its inaugural year, the award was given to Alan Bjerga of the Bloomberg News Service, Danielle Engholm of Padilla Speer Beardsley, Mary Lahammer of Twin Cities Public Television and Tim Larson of Jostens.
The board accepts nominations from the general public and will review these nominations in late winter. Winners will be notified and the award is handed out at SJMC's annual Spring Showcase: A Celebration of Excellence event. To nominate an SJMC alum, please click here.
