SJMC Instructor Named to Augsburg College's Board of Regents

SJMC adjunct instructor Steve Wehrenberg, chief executive officer of Campbell Mithun, was elected in fall 2012 to serve a four-year term as a member of the Augsburg College Board of Regents.

Steve Wehrenbergweb.jpgWehrenberg, who teaches Generation and Selection of Communication Strategies in SJMC's Professional M.A. in Strategic Communication program, is a 1978 graduate of the college.

As a Board of Regents member, he will serve on the finance as well as the enrollment management and marketing committees.

Wehrenberg is the author of "The Successful Marketing Plan," and a 30-year veteran of the advertising industry. He was named CEO of Campbell Mithun in 2007. Wehrenberg is a renowned expert in strategic communication, messaging, branding, marketing and consumer engagement.

"Steve brings to Augsburg's governance invaluable talents and experience from his work at Campbell Mithun," said Augsburg College President Paul C. Pribbenow. "He will engaged our College community in strategic conversation around enrollment planning and market position."
